Rebar HRB400E: Production, Performance and Applications in Reinforced Concrete
Rebar HRB400E: Production, Performance and Applications in Reinforced Concrete
Rebar is a key steel material used in reinforced concrete structures. The HRB400E rebar supplied by ANLI is produced by hot rolling carbon and low-alloy steel, with ribbed surfaces designed to improve the bond between steel bars and concrete. Common sizes include Y8, Y10 and Y12, while larger diameters and customized lengths are also available for different construction projects.
Hot-Rolled Production and Ribbed Surface
During hot rolling, the steel is formed into bars with longitudinal and transverse ribs. These ribs increase the contact area between the rebar and concrete, helping transfer loads more effectively and reducing the risk of slipping within the concrete structure.
The surface profile is also important for construction quality. Consistent rib geometry and a relatively uniform surface help provide stable mechanical bonding during reinforced concrete construction.
Strength and Mechanical Performance
HRB400E rebar is designed for applications that require a combination of strength, ductility and bending performance. The material can be processed for common construction operations such as cutting and bending, while its weldability makes it suitable for various reinforced structural systems.
Available grades include HRB400 and HRB500, with products also supplied according to international requirements such as ASTM A615 and other applicable standards. Diameters can range from approximately 4 mm to 60 mm depending on project requirements.
Applications in Construction Projects
Rebar is mainly used as the reinforcing framework inside concrete structures. It is commonly found in foundations, columns, beams, slabs, bridges and other reinforced concrete components.
Y8, Y10 and Y12 bars are frequently used where smaller reinforcement sizes are required, while larger diameters can be selected for structural members with higher reinforcement requirements. The appropriate grade and size depend on the structural design and applicable project standards.
Supply for Overseas Projects
ANLI rebar is manufactured in China and supplied for domestic and overseas construction projects. Standard and customized sizes are available, with a minimum order quantity of 5 tons and a typical delivery time of 7–15 days.
Waterproof export packing is used for shipment. Products can be supplied according to project specifications and applicable standards, with customized lengths available for bulk orders.
